LIVONIA, Mich. (PRWEB) May 10, 2018
Cheryl Bowker, CEO and owner of the Bowker Insurance Group in Livonia, is announcing the launch of a charity drive to help provide food to children facing food insecurity. Donations raised will be provided to Blessings in a Backpack – Livonia, a locally managed nonprofit that provides backpacks full of food to schoolchildren from underprivileged families to ensure proper nutrition during weekends.
“We are working with Blessings in a Backpack to ensure all students in the Livonia community are able to enjoy healthy meals that will enable them to make the most of their educational opportunities,” said Bowker.
The firm is asking all residents in the Livonia area to be part of the charity drive by sending in friends or family members for a no obligation quote on insurance. For each person referred, Bowker has pledged to make a $10 donation to Blessings in a Backpack.
