For children who are blind or visually impaired, that opportunity starts with something many of us take for granted: the ability to read. That’s why we’re proud to support Seedlings Braille Books for Children.
Founded in 1984, Seedlings was built on a powerful mission: to make braille books accessible and affordable so that every child can experience the joy of reading. What began as a small, home-based effort has grown into a remarkable organization impacting children around the world.
Today, Seedlings produces tens of thousands of braille books each year many of them provided at no cost to families. Through the dedication of their team and volunteers, they have distributed over 800,000 books, helping children develop literacy, independence, and confidence.
Access to braille is life-changing. When children are given the tools to read early, they are empowered to succeed academically, build self-esteem, and pursue their dreams. Yet, many families still face barriers in accessing these essential resources.

This month, for every referral we receive, Bowker Insurance will donate $10 to support Seedlings Braille Books for Children.
